Upon receiving the architectural drawings, our team initiates comprehensive lighting calculations and design development. 

By using advanced lighting simulation tools such as AGI32 and Enscape, we accurately predict how Trend Lighting products will perform within your interior spaces, well before installation begins. These tools enable us to visualise light distribution in 3D, simulating incidental, direct, and reflected light behaviour to fully understand light and surface interactions across the entire project. Our approach goes beyond basic layout design: we optimise fixture placement to meet project-specific illuminance requirements, minimise glare, and configure tailored dimming scenes that balance functionality with visual comfort and energy efficiency. 

Our process rigorously examines every project from multiple perspectives, ensuring we deliver the most effective, compliant, and innovative lighting solution for your space. 

We adhere strictly to the Australian Lighting Standards and National Construction Code (NCC) Section J Energy Efficiency requirements for lighting in every project, ensuring every design solution is technically precise and fully compliant with the industry standards.

After the design is finalised, you will receive a full lighting plan package, including a lighting layout plan, calculation results, lighting specifications, pseudo heat maps, 3D rendered images, and fully compliant Section J7 reports for your approval. 

This comprehensive documentation ensures clarity, transparency, and a smooth progression to the next project phase.

Following your approval, our partners at Trend Lighting will provide a detailed quotation and manage procurement and delivery of all specified Trend Lighting products, ensuring a seamless transition from design to implementation.
